I cannot for some reason get the Aeotec recessed door 7 to report. I cannot get open or closed. I've excluded and added back with no S2 & S2 with no success, LED flashes when using the magnet.
Any suggestions??

@CurtisZM Dumb question, have you tried changing the battery? Most times when it's not reporting it's caused by low battery levels
Changed battery. Device is flaking out. I'm going to order another one. Thanks for your response.
You might for giggles unpair and delete it, factory reset and re pair it again to see if it goes back to behaving normally. I have one and have never seen this behavior

I’ve had this behaviour in both my 5 and 7, it’s an absolute nightmare. The only time I have managed to get it to pair was in either S0 or by unpairing and factory resetting the whole device and even that was hit or miss. They are currently sat in my draw collecting dust, an absolute shame because they are exactly what I like in a product (The hidden element of smart homes not the extreme stress it causes me!)
I did order another one to see if it exhibits the same issue. I now have another C7 to use as the testing hub.
