Aeotec Recessed Door sensor 7: How to "un-ghost"

I have a relatively new Aeotec Recessed Door sensor Gen7. It worked fine for a few days and then when silent. I refreshed and the z-wave status page says it is "OK", but the "Route" column is blank. I have tried the "configure" button as well, but no improvement. What else can I do to bring it back to life, so to speak?
Update: I have a C7 hub.

Just remove the battery and then click on refresh. The delete button should pop up. You might have to reboot to get it to fully clear.

I removed battery, pushed refresh, replaced battery, and then rebooted the hub. Still not showing a route. Is there anything else I can try, or should I just break down and exclude/include again?
Update: It is very close to a GoControl WS15Z-1 on/off wall switch, so it should be able to access the z-wave mesh.

I would exclude it then re pair it. Also change the battery for giggles, you don't know how good the battery is when you get them

Couple of things:

So events are not being triggered? Since the device is battery powered it likely does not report all the time so no need to worry about that.

You can go into pairing mode again and hit the button on the device and see if it pops up. what ninja @rlithgow1 said! :ninja:

If you have to remove it - go to the device page do a remove then push the button on the device again. It should remove. If it does not then you can force remove it and see if it appears in the Z-Wave details page. If it's still there but as an unknown device THEN remove the battery, and push refresh a couple of times. Hopefully the remove option will appear - if so, leave the battery out and do the remove. Important to leave device unpowered so it can be removed.

I should have asked, when you go to the device page is it changing status?

OMG, it was the damn battery. Only 2 weeks old. Before it died, the battery read 100%, and when I finally got the multimeter, it was 1.3V (should be 3V).

Thank you for helping me debug!

We have ALL been there... far too many times to count sadly. Glad you figured it out!
