Aeotec Nanomote- wierd battery level report

I have a Aeotec Nanomote that produces weird battery levels. After a fresh charge, the battery reports 90%. On the next wakeup it is 100%, then the next time it is 67%, then back to 100% again.

I wanted to check and do a firmware update. But both my Aeotoc button products (NanoMote and Quad) do not report hardware or firmware version.

Is the lack of firmware version reporting blocked in the Aeotec products is it a limitation of the device's Hubitat driver?

It's a limitation generally of the product. Usually the driver exposes what's available. That said, have you checked with Aeotec to see if firmware updates are available for your devices?

I finally go around to contacting Aeotec about the battery drop issue. They told me when a button is pushed the battery level temporarily "droops" and the battery level is reported at that time. After a few seconds. the battery voltage floats back up to 100%. Okay sounds feasible, but I also have an Aeotec Quad which doesn't do it. So perhaps this is an anomaly of the Nanomote hardware.
