Thanks. Gonna look later for a place to buy.
That looks almost exactly like some average reading on mine depending on the time of day.
Mine is accurate enough for me to determine 1) if my car is charging 2) if my pool heater is running 3) if one, two, or three of my ACs are running... and others. From this, I'm able to infer what's drawing power if I can't objectively determine it (which I can do with the pool and thermostats). My general point: it's accurate enough to be useful beyond merely knowing whether your utility provider is supplying power.
If you find somewhere (I took a brief look and came up empty but gave up since I can't get all 3 clamps working yet), please let us know.
Thx!
Will do, but I only have a need for 2 clamps. They have 3-phase power for houses in Europe?
No only does mine kick out accurate power readings at 5 second intervals, based on an old TED carrier line device, I made a rule that sends me a Pushover notification on the energy use for the month.
Of course, I can't do anything with the 5 second data since I've turned logging off for that. Perhaps one day I'll do Grafana or whatever, and chart it. Not ambitious though.
Found it on the Aeotec store:

not clear i know the clamps changed btween the 100 series what if you have the older 500 series?
Have a China tracking number.
Somehow I was under the impression Aeotec was European.
Maybe it is, but unit is being drop shipped, if that's the correct term.
I think you are right. One use for me might be a total power warning if I am getting near the threshold of my generator capacity. I can turn off the water heater and the roof heat tape automatically. It would be an easier alternative to connecting the load shed capability of the generator.
I could also potentially do the same for the car charger. But that would some significant electrical surgery. Also, I am not very concerned about that since if I am charging, I will be there and can reset the breaker in the generator if it trips.
Thanks!
Mine came from China as well. Just looked it up and the tracking info was still there.
It took 12 days to arrive.

More endless hours of amusement to follow.
I just installed the 800 series and tried using the community driver that was working for the 500 series.
It doesn't update the values. It had been kicking them out at 5 second intervals with the older unit. It updates with a "Refresh".
Any ideas why it's not updating?

FYI, I needed to create a rule to refresh mine to get updated values.
Sorry I did not mention it before!
Hopefully an official driver will address that.
You're still using the 5 version driver?
I've fooled around with the parameters and can't get it to work.
I'm going to give up and wait for a driver.
@bobbyD , any timeframe?
As you know, it's been an excellent device.
And the new one has a tiny external antenna!
Yes. I used the driver in the link above. Had to create a rule to refresh it to trigger other rules, but it works great for my purposes.
Let me know if there is any info I can share.
Thanks.
I feel that for a whole house monitor you want higher granularity of reporting.
My 500 was doing every 5 seconds for years.
Parameter 114? goes down to 10 seconds only.
There are now parameters for import and export-I don't think they were there before.
Changed 111 and 114 to 10, but still no go.
I'm in over my head...I'm just giving up.
Perhaps a shout out to @bcopeland would help?
I appreciate a HEM driver ...thanks in advance.
I received a reply from Aeotec.
Cut and paste below.
This is the link you want.
I'll try it soon.

Hi Kxx,
Aeotec Ticket (Agent Link): Loading...
Created an article around this driver, its not all 100% speciflcally with the parameter settings, i may need to look into simplifying the input as the driver isn't sending in the correct decimal value:

I have a working Hubitat HEM 8 code here, its a bit dirty but i had to play around the logic of the original developer, just note that i've renamed "Clamp" to "Endpoint" as the word Clamp no longer makes sense in how the driver and HEM 8 are designed as it tries to generalize the endpoints to clamps.
The HEM 8 references are for a 2 clamp edition:
2 Clamp Version
Endpoint 0 - Total Sum of all Consumption / Production
Endpoint 1 - Clamp 1 Consumption
Endpoint 2 - Clamp 1 Production
Endpoint 3 - Clamp 2 Consumption
Endpoint 4 - Clamp 2 Production
Endpoint 5 - Sum of Consumption for all Clamps (Clamp 1 + 2)
Endpoint 6 - Sum of Production for all Clamps (Clamp 1 + 2)
Attached is a screenshot of how the values should show up in this driver, do a "Refresh" and it should update every single available value. As per the parameter settings - i have not yet tested the configurations to see if they are working properly (but i have only included Parameter 101 - 106, and 111-106)
