I'll worry about that when there are devices that I want that are not supported by Z/IP.

I've not bought any Z-wave devices in over 2 years. I don't even have any LR devices. I prefer Zigbee anyway.

If it really becomes a problem, I'll cross that bridge then.

That said, I do have a C8 Pro, but my Z-wave mesh is still on a C7.

Not having a Pro, This is what concerns me.

Agreed I think it is becoming clear we need morr and more resources every day for the simple stuff we are doing. Thag said other then the ability to run Zwave JS the pro doesn't give you anything more necessarily then a C8 from a zwave perapective.

True, but zip gateway has known deficiencies. With Zwave LR and how it handles ghost devices. I am sure there are more. It is good you are not being impacted by them now, but those issues can creep up at any time. Also as time passes thing rarely remain the same.
