Hello all, I am a first time Hubitat user that just purchased a C8 and in the process of setting things up I ran into something I am hoping I will find help for here. I have an ADT security system and have it connected to my Google Home account.. i can use Google to lock my Kwikset deadbolts, arm/disarm the system and play alerts... in my Google Home app I see the ADT sensors at the bottom listed under a "linked to you" section and I would like to be able to use those sensors in Hubitat, is this possible? I have also looked at using virtual devices by creating automations in Google Home but those devices are not available there either.
Have you assigned the ADT sensors to a room? Generally, that is needed to be able to create automations on a device in Google Home. You might also need to use Google Home's script editor depending on the device.
Yes, they are in rooms. the only device of all the ADT devices that is usable is the kwikset deadbolt.. all contact, window, shock, water, motion and vibration sensors are not usable.. even though they show up in the home app and are in a room with the current status showing in the home app... almost like its being blocked from providing its status for any useful purpose intentionally.
Wouldn't surprise me if it is. I looked up the frequencies that those sensors used, and they cannot be paired with Hubitat as they do not use Zigbee or Zwave. Have you checked the script editor to see if they show there?
