I'm going crazy! I've added a WiFi "Amazon Smart Plug" ($4.95 Black Friday) to the iOS Alexa app . Drop-dead easy. But I can't get it to show up in Hubitat. Doesn't show in Alexa Skill on Hubitat. Have rebooted hub, powered hub off. I know I'm missing something obvious to normal humans...
Alexa doesn’t share devices back to Hubitat.
You could create a virtual switch on Hubitat and share that to alexa, then maybe create Alexa routines to turn on and off.

Alexa isn't a 2-way <-> device sharing. It is a 1 way from hub to Alexa.
