I added a zwave device (Minoston MP22Z single outlet) but it was discovered as a Zooz Double Plug. Can I just change the device type or should I exclude and try adding again?
You should be able to select a different driver. HE selects the driver based on the device fingerprint, but you’re not locked into it. May have to switch to the Device driver and get rid of the child devices first though.

Yeah, that happened to the most recent two I bought.
As @thebearmay states, switch it to Device, then use the "Delete All Child Devices" command to remove the children it created. Once they are gone, change it back to a more normal driver like the "Generic Z-Wave Outlet" or the "EVA LOGIK Smart Plug". The second one is what my first one came up with (I have 4 now) and they seem to work well with it.

@snell - How you get to "Delete All Child Devices" in Device ?

You have to set the device's Type to be "Device". That built-in driver has a couple special commands to get info on devices and clear out potential problems (like children or scheduled jobs).
