@bravenel could you please consider adding the telnet capability to the RM “select capability of action device” list? When hub restarts I would like to run a rule to initialize a few Telnet connections that my hub has with LAN devices. One in particular is my for my UPS that is connected to my NAS and that driver doesn’t have any capabilities from that selection list so I am having to add an extra unnecessary capability just to select in a custom action. It would be awesome if Telnet was in the list.

The hub calls the initialize method for any devices that have capability initialize when it starts already...

Well my Denon Receiver isn’t automatically connecting after startup as one example.
What driver are you using? Is it built in? I was having this issue with a telnet driver. I had to add a call to connect under initialize. It works great now.
Not sure what to say, I have two lutron bridges connected to two different hubs and an onkyo receiver on one of the hubs, I've not had issues with the inbuilt drivers re connecting on hub startup...
