Over the years of testing devices and beta releases I have probably had to close WebCore a 1000+ times to add a device that was new or "disappeared/stopped working", had to be deleted and re-added for testing.
Is it possible to add a drop-down like the Dashboard one to include devices as Actuator/Sensor or Device right on the Device Info page?
I know WC would still have to be probably closed to refresh the new device list (?) but it would visually integrate the use of that device in the built-in Automation.
This would be very handy. My go-to way to add devices to dashboards now is through the device info page.
It is like even though Webcore is now a built-in app, the original code was not changed to be a true built-in app, as it still acts like a community app where you have to choose device settings. Built in apps do not usually need a device selection setting, at the parent app level, since they have full access to the devices. Dashboards seem to have full access, and the dashboard device list is more of a selection tool to keep dashboards easier to manage.
