Active LIFX "Flash" mode based on temperature alerts

Members,

I am using YoLink integration and am able to get Sonos to announce an out of temp condition. No problems here. Just got a LIFX color bulb, a lamp stand. The device is in Hubitat with a bulb switch on the dashboard. Color is set, everything fine. How do I command the rule machine to activate the "Flash" mode that is available on LIFX driver device? (I do not want just on/off). Basically I want the bulb to flash when the rule conditions are activated (an out of temp alarm so to speak).

I think I figured it out! It is a "custom" action on a switch, and a "flash" option is available.

New problems....the "flash" does not stop when the parameters are back to normal (ie temp < 46 ). I set the "alarm" when the temp is > 46. The Sonos does stop the announcement

, Ideas? Create a new "rule" to turn off bulb? Does the rule stay "activated" once "triggered?" Like I said, the Sonos announcement does stop automatically,

Add a line to the rule if temp >46 then turn light on or off. That cancels out the flash

@rlithgow1 Rick, thank you. Is this a new rule or part of the same one? If so, how do you write it? I am a rule newbie.

Just add it to the existing rule... Post the existing rule
