I had no difficulty setting up my Habitat hub, but have had zero luck pairing devices. I have attempted to pair Cree and Sylvania Zigbee lightbulbs, but with no success. I have scoured the FAQ and community site as well as watching videos. I would love to speak with someone from support or else this thing might have to go back in the box and get returned. Thank you in advance!
- Have you confirmed that the bulbs are reset?
- Have you confirmed that the zigbee radio on the hub is running?

Btw, become a member of the owners group on this community website, because it will give you permissions to send PMs and post images - both of which may be needed to troubleshoot this issue.
Have you done a reset on the bulb per the owners manual for the bulb. I don't have any Cree or Sylvania bulbs other than a Sylvania lightstrip but that paired fine as I recall a few years ago. Mostly for smart bulbs I use Sengled.
Also, I don't want to distract from the actual issue at hand, since they should pair regardless, but be aware that Cree and at least some generations of Sylvania bulbs are known to be problematic on Zigbee networks when mixed with other (non-bulb) devices. If they are all you have, that is reported to work better; if you are planning on adding other devices into the mix and they also use Zigbee, includingsensors, smart plugs, thermsotats, etc., then you may have problems. The issue is that they make poor repeaters ("routers" in Zigbee terminology) and may cause problems for your whole mesh.

Actually if they weren't removed from a previous zigbee hub/network, they will not join another hub until being factory reset...
Right; I am, of course, assuming that the proper steps were followed as advised above.
Please check the notification in the upper right corner. I sent you a private message.
Hello, I have confirmed factory reset for all bulbs (I've tried 2 Cree and 3 Sylvania bulbs thus far). I'm not sure how to confirm the Zigbee radio is running. Can you tell me how that is done? Thank you very much
Hi - Sounds like you may be a new user. I was MASSIVELY frustrated about 14 months ago when I was a new user. But I've since come around and LOVE my Hubitat. LOVE IT!!!
So hang in there.
I also have a Sylvania Zigbee bulb, and I also had difficulty pairing it. To be sure that it would pair, I first plugged it into a lamp that is portable, and worked on pairing it when it was 5' from the hub. Paired perfect (although I did have to reset it first because it was so messed up from all my prior attempts). Once it was paired to the hub, I moved it to the fixture in which I wanted to use it. It was unreliable. At that point I realized I needed to reinforce my Zigbee network (I was exclusively Zwave before I got this bulb).
To reinforce my network, I bought Sonoff S31 Lite Zigbee outlets. DON'T DO THAT. Two problems with these outlets: First, they have the same model name as the wifi outlets, so at first they shipped those, and I had to return. Once I got the correct ones, I learned they are flakey. I'm using them, but I prefer something that works 100% of the time, rather than 95% of the time. So get something different as your repeater if your bulbs will live any distance from your hub. Poke around these forums and you can get some good recommendations.
And welcome to Hubitat. You will LOVE IT!
Thank you for your help, I was able to do some troubleshooting with a Habitat support team member and apparently I got a faulty unit. They were EXTREMELY helpful and are sending me a replacement. Fingers crossed the new one works!
Thank you for taking the time to respond! Hubitat is sending me a new unit, so I'm hoping it will do the trick. I really want this to work!
