A C7 Zwave Question

I seem to have an issue with a device, as per the zwave settings page:

I have tried the Discover button and the Repair button, but I'm no closer to finding out what this Node is. (Nothing changed after those buttons).
As per my list of devices:

(It doesn't show device 35!)**
Question:
How do I figure out what this node is?
Besides using PC Controller, is there anything else I can do to figure out what/where this node is?

Usually that is a failed pair (ghost). It was probably successfully joined in a second attempt. Typically it's the next device in the list 54 or later. Try powering down the next device in the list and then attempt to remove the device. If it successfully removes it then that was the device. It won't let you remove the device if the hub can ping it. If the device doesn't have an air gap tab to pull out then try flipping off the breaker to the switch. If that isn't an option then you would have to pull the device out.

Alternatively you could remove the ghost node with a UZB stick or a z-stick and PC Controller v5 software from SiLabs. Join the stick as a secondary controller and then remove it from inside the PC Controller software.

Thanks for the suggestions.

I think that I'll try first to get rid of it with the "remove" button" and then with PC Controller (if that doesn't work).

The device shows that it uses S2 so that could also be a hint at what device it could be. Depending on how many you have it may help narrow it down.

I had this same problem and even clicking 'Remove' on 2.2.4.148 didnt do anything. however, i dont know if it had to do with the update, or the reboot, or pure luck, but i just updated to 2.2.4.153. the hub rebooted and i immediately went into settings, found the failed device, clicked remove, and it actually went away.

Could be the update, could be the reboot. I usually reboot when I'm having issues removing a failed device, and it's helped in the past. Either way it's good news.
