I'm trying to use BroadLink to control a Hampton Bay Ceiling Fan that uses 302.739 MHz RF, but BroadLink doesn't appear to support that frequency. Does anyone know of a system that does?
The Bond bridge will support that frequency. The RF frequency range it supports is 300-450 MHz.
Yep, Bond for the win - it's been a completely reliable solution (for years now) for our Minka fan. Perhaps overkill for just one fan, but the convenience and integration it offers has been well worth it for us.
ETA - Bond now has a Pro bridge too - that will work of course, but the less expensive (albeit wireless) black puck-looking model is all you really need - it works great.
ETA2 - if you look on eBay (good idea), just watch out for the very first generation bridge they made - it is no longer supported, but it looks just like the current black puck non-Pro model. The model/serial number difference elude me, but google around a bit on the topic to ensure you're not getting stiffed with one of those if you go eBay. That was a long time ago, so I doubt many are floating around anymore, but better safe than sorry.
Check eBay I got a Bond Bridge used for good discount. I am using the Bond Bridge on an old Hampton Bay that had a remote, and also one newer fan I added which came with a remote as the only control option. Have one more remote module I got to upgrade another fan as well.
Wow! Thanks for the quick replies. I guess I should've gotten a Bond Bridge instead of the BroadLink.
