2nd phone as device

how do i get my wives phone to show up as a second device in hubitat ? (she has the iOS app and I want to add her presence)
when I sign in on her phone, the device changes to rename her phone as mine.
Does her phone need its own account ?

I haven’t tried but believe this post answers your question:

Hubitat Mobile App Released

This process is handled in portal. But the new portal wasn't ready to fully roll out so it's currently available at https://portal.hubitat.com and if you log in with your hubs main account it will show up in my hubs. From there you can select the hub image and a dialog will open up allowing you to assign other existing users to that hub. Once this is done, they can also log in and see the main hub.

Two Emails, One Hub?

I assume you're planning to use the Hubitat Mobile App? If so, you can create a portal account using her email address. Then log into the portal using your email address, go to My Hubs, then click on your Hub's black Icon (not the blue URL below the icon!), and then add her account to your hub as a guest (unless you want her to be an admin.) I had similar issues getting my wife's phone added to our Hubitat. Here are some screenshots showing what I did on the second phone to make it show up as a second mobile app device:

First: Choose Existing Hub Owner:

Second: sign in to your Hubitat account. DO NOT create a new account:

Third: Tap the 'Add New Device' button. Do not tap on the name of your first device!

That's it. You should now have a second mobile app device in your Hubitat device list.
