Hi, has anyone any experience of this: MOES ZigBee 20A Water Heater Smart Switch

I'm always dubious around electrical safety. Is Moes reputable or do you have any alternative recommendations regards controlling a 3kw immersion heater?

I'm running a 3.7 Kw resistive type water heater on a GE ZW4007 40A 240V Z-Wave controller (relay) but they are no longer manufactured.

If I need to replace it I would go with the Zooz offering: Zooz Z-Wave Long Range High Power Relay ZEN78 800LR - The Smartest House

I would just use a 120v coil contactor that is triggered by a smart plug or a relay. You can get a 30 Amp for $13 on Amazon.

I've used the Zooz relay suggested here with good success to control the heating elements in two buffer tanks (radiant hydronic system).Works very well.

@stueyhughes - are you in North America or in the EU/UK? Asking because your link was to Amazon UK, but all the suggestions are for products approved for use in North America.
