I have 2 motion sensors. One at the top of the stairs leading down to the basement and one in the basement hallway. I set a simple lighting rule if any one detects motion light comes on for 1 minute,
I would like a rule saying.... if the one downstairs detects motion first, and then the one at the top of the stairs detects motion afterwards then turn of the lights after 10 sek...
Is that possible and if so, how??
There is a built in app called "Zone Motion Controller" that allows you to setup multiple motion sensors to act as one. This should work very well for this purpose. It would work in a similar fashion but it would trigger when all motion has stopped. You can set it to turn the lights off at different intervals from 5 seconds up to 1 hour. Turning the light off after 10 seconds after motion is active would be an issue as the motion sensor would probably still be active depending on it's time out setting. This is dependent on how quickly your motion sensors can go inactive. The app would create a new device called mZone, followed by whatever you call it. You would then select that device as the motion sensor.
