[2.4.3.148] C8Pro All my Aqara motions now report 78% battery

First off I'm not running an HE driver, I'm using Aqara P1 Motion Sensor from @kkossev .
I changed a non-responsive motion battery yesterday that read 78%.
Then I noticed all 13 of my sensors all say 78%.
Not sure when this mass change happened to battery calculations.

Oddly I do have one that says 100%.

Post a screenshot of the Aqara P1 web page - Events tab. There you should see the battery voltage and the calculated percentage events fired every 56 minutes.

Indeed, they send events.
But somewhere down the line, very recently, the 100%'s all became 78.
I changed two batteries the other day as I saw the 78% and they still say 78 and not 100.
I have checked and load tested the new batteries and they are indeed almost 3.15 but reports at 2.89/78%
The old ones I took out were 3 and 2.95 reporting again at 2.89/78%
Not sure where to hunt next for a reason.

Wow, that's a complete mystery!

Aqara battery-powered devices do not report the battery percentage remaining, they report periodically only the voltage, and the % is calculated in the drivers.

Here are part of my Aqara devices, the Aqara P1 motion sensor shows 99% (2.995 V) :

Yeah, weird.
All my voltages are coming in at 2.89, even the new battery one.
This is the only good one and I haven't changed the battery or touched it at all.
I had to change my Device Activity Check app to <78 so they would get off the naughty list.
I guess it will become apparent someday what is going on.
I am in the beta firmware so maybe something in one of the builds - but I doubt it.

It cannot be the beta platform version; the calculations for battery voltage are quite straightforward—just divide the millivolt value by 1000 ...

When you say, "...load tested the new batteries," how do you do that? Do you have a battery tester that applies some load to the battery (at least a few milliamps) when measuring the voltage?

Yes. I have a battery tester for 1.5 and 3 VDC cells that measures load and no load.
I agree the 2.89 is coming from the battery through the driver and you just calculate it.
I'm playing with a few other drivers and I reinstalled yours.

Well dang.
New strong battery, new version of the beta, fresh events just now.
