2.2.9.140 - Hung on "verifying download"

Just updated two C7s from 2.2.9.138 to .140. Both completed successfully, but the update status messaging didn't display/update properly.

First C7: Screen hung on "Verifying..." page through entire update. Refreshed page and showed current version was updated to .140.

Second C7: Screen hung on Download progress:

Refreshed and showed below.

This is not good! Similar behavior to what I've been dealing with for the last several versions.

my updaes all worked just went to 140 no issues

not trying to be obnoxious just that oit is not everyone.. maybe database corruption. not sure how to tell. maybe try an older restore than update>

Just to clarify - the updates to .140 did complete successfully, it's just that the status reported gets hung at some point. So it's a UI issue, doesn't block the update.

How long did it hang for you? Mine is going on 20 minutes plus.

Might it be the page that hasn’t refreshed? What do you get if you do a manual refresh? 20 minutes is way too long…

Well the thing is that it does go away on it's own but it still shows if I go and click on the link again (update available)

Or just open another tab pointed at the hub?

Mine appeared to be sitting and not changing for quite a while, at least maybe 20 minutes on the hub where it hung showing a percentage verifying the download. But I wasn't timing it so I just don't know. In all cases as soon as I refresh the page it showed the update as installed and everything was fine.

See, mine is actually kicking out. Like it aborts but then when I try to do it again I simply get the message that the hub is rebooting and never does. I also discovered that during that time random things are non functional. This has happened a few times. One time my devices page was accessible but individual device pages weren't. Another time dashboards had no devices authorized.

Have you tried rolling back using http://hubitat.local:8081 , and then doing the update again?

You don’t need to rollback, at least I didn’t, just reboot your hub from the hubip:8081 reboot menu option.
