I had this happen while beta testing. Rebooting the hub from the settings menu did not help. To resolve this I rebooted the hub using the diagnostic tool and then was able to re-download the update using the diagnostic tool as well.
I fixed it, unplugging the hub. Then updated again and it worked fine.
I'm also having this issue.
Bought a c7 last month and all updates are getting stuck because the ip changes. I open an tab. find the new address and all is fine.
From reading above I see that there's a solution, but in general, Is this a feature and not a bug? Why is it doing that?
If you donβt create a DHCP reservation, the DHCP source will assign a new IP when requested - often times this is when a device is rebooted.
Yeah, but can't there be a more normal way to do it?
Never had a product the always got stuck on updates
Guess it depends on what you consider normal, I normally assign a reservation to devices that I will reference on a regular basis to make finding them quicker.
Iβm looking at the ways to handle IP change on the update page. This is an annoyance that can probably be solved with some coding.
