This morning, for the second time in about a week, my hub restarted itself at about 4:15 in the morning.
This is 15 minutes before my scheduled daily restart.
It's also a time when not much should be happening--extremely low activity.
Is your hub on a UPS? Any chance the power blipped at 4:15am?
Have you tried replacing the power supply with a known, good one? Sometimes the power supply goes bad.
Have you tried replacing the microUSB cable? Be gentle when connecting the cable to the hub, as the microUSB connector on the hub is somewhat fragile.
Any chance the hub is overheating? Some folks had them stacked on top of other electronics that pumped a bunch of heat into a small space.
Anything in the Past Logs around this same time?

It's on a UPS.
It's on an open wall with great airflow. The hub's temperature is generally around 90 degrees (F).
It may have to do with my cloud backups. It seems to be crashing at about that time, on those days.
All the shutdowns are orderly, and there are no further details. I'm adding some stack traces that will show where reboot came from, it will be a part of next hotfix.
