12 volt power supply recommendations

Hello, I'm going to be using these LED lights for under cabinet lighting. I ordered this power supply but it has been 10 days and it still hasn't shipped. Do you have any recommendations on any other power supplies?

That's outputting at 24 volts. Is that going to work with the linked lightstrip?

It should. Light strips don't take a whole lotta power. You can also buy cuttable rolls on the cheap as well..

24V power supplies should never be used for 12V light strips. @Deflagratio for the strip you linked to, you would need a 12V power supply capable of at least 2 amps or 24W (12V x 2A = 24W). The power supply you ordered will work, but is a bit overkill and could power 2 of those strips. It's also a little overpriced for 45W. My recommendation is to do a search for "12V 2A power supply" or "12V 24W power supply" and pay attention to the reviews to make sure you are getting a decent one. You can also test your power supply with a multimeter to make sure that it is working within spec.

I can't make any personal recommendations because all of the 12V power supplies I am using came from shucked external hard drives that I am using in my NAS.

Voltage has to match the strips, or you will burn them out. Amperage only draws what it needs, so you can go higher there if you wanted to.

Thank you everyone for jumping in to make sure I got accurate information.

I have several of these and they have worked out well for over a year.
